Genesis 1:14 says the stars are there for signs. Many ancients taught, that the stars and planets were astrological signs of events on earth. The writer of Genesis declares that the stars were put there for signs. A transit of Venus across the Sun takes place when the planet Venus passes directly between the Sun and Earth, obscuring a small portion of the Sun's disk. During a transit, Venus can be seen from Earth as a small black disk moving across the face of the Sun. The duration of such transits is usually measured in hours The first of a pair of transits of Venus in the beginning of the 21st century took place on June 8, 2004 (see Transit of Venus, 2004) and the next will be on June 6, 2012 . Venus was important to Maya, who called it Noh Ek, "the Great Star" or Xux Ek, "the Wasp Star"; [9] they embodied Venus in the form of the god Kukulkán (also known or related to Gukumatz and Quetzalcoatl in other parts of Mexico). In the Dresden Codex, the Maya chart Venus' full cycle. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. In the Dresden Codex, the Maya chart Venus' full cycle, Johannes Kepler was the first European to predict a transit of Venus in 1631, not accurate enough to predict that the transit would not be visible in most of Europe. Pythagoras was credited with determining that the morning and evening pass of Venus were the same body. founder of the religious movement called Pythagoreanism.According to Iamblichus, Pythagoras once said that "number is the ruler of forms and ideas and the cause of gods and demons."
He was the first man to call himself a philosopher, or lover of wisdom,[2] and Pythagorean ideas exercised a marked influence on Plato. Of course there is also a lunar eclipse in 2012 and the A Great year completion bringing us to the New Age, (also known as a Platonic year or Equinoctial cycle) it is the time required for one complete cycle of the precession of the equinoxes, about 25,765 years, at the current rate. Ra of The Law of One sources its origin also with the planet Venus.

Catalyst, karma and reincarnation... Beating the same drum
Western religions have been fighting against this most basic logic for thousands of years. If only the Zoroastrians and Eqyptians had traveled more to India, the ideas would have been reconciled long ago. However they are not, and so we ponder them now. Catalyst is the syllabus of lifes classroom.... the fully aware discarnate soul evaluates a life completed, sets some catalyst for directing learning in another. So simple and yet to keep ones eye on the ball...so difficult. During incarnation the weaknesses are revealed and harm/benefit is caused. Karma, the law of cause and effect, requires that each jot and tittle be reckoned. Examine those with with a life of difficult experience....what is the logic for that sufferring? If one considers the learning of difficult catalyst and the karma requiring balancing, it becomes orderly to the mind. The hoodwinked /veiled entity gets off course in life, naturally, because we come into incarnation without awareness of all this, as we are truly free to choose our path. So in another life, undealt with harm is balanced. This so called web of karma, and is perhaps the greatest challenge of the freewill plane, and yet the entity, as the first articifer, over the many lives, has a soul metal honed and strengthened by the forge of difficult catalyst, and importantly has developed faith, which requires that proof of Diety be unavailable. And forgiveness accelerates the learning too as through it the wheel of karma is stopped. No need to balance harm. This is the freewill quickening Plan of our Logos, the so called "choice density" The oversouls imperative is that the incarnate self work hard towards the chosen polarity/service. Reincarnation is so fundamental to a merciful and logical Plan of Diety that to consider otherwise vastly diminishes the order and beneficence of the Infinite Intelligence. The distortions in understanding are mitigated by the variable experience of many lives and to hone the souls metal requires exposure to repeated heat/shaping and removal of dross upon the anvil of the many-lives experience. Truth without proof.

Solstice of Saint John
The northern solstice falls tonight at 23.59. Northern solstice and southern solstice indicate the direction of the sun's movement. The northern solstice is in June on Earth, when the sun is directly over the Tropic of Cancer in the Northern Hemisphere, and the southern solstice is in December, when the sun is directly over the Tropic of Capricorn in the Southern Hemisphere. Solstices occur twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is most oriented towards or away from the Sun, causing the Sun to reach its northernmost and southernmost extremes. The name is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), because at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, its apparent movement north or south comes to a standstill. In the Eastern Orthodox Church and other Eastern Christian Churches, John the Baptist is usually called John the Forerunner, a title used also in the West ("Πρόδρομος" in Greek, "Praecursor" in Latin). This title indicates that the purpose of his ministry was to prepare the way for the coming of Jesus Christ. In the East also, the Feast of his Nativity is celebrated on 24 June. Happy St. Johns Day

The Battle of Evermore
Freemasonry is at its regular point of dichotomy as to the hearts and minds of the brothers. It reflects that of our society. We have new agers, drawn to its inclusive nature as to faith and logic, and we have the conservatives, drawn to its conservative conventional morality. The two have commonalities of the heart, justice, charity, the search for truth and liberty. Yet when it comes to the mind, a radical divide exists between us. It is the limit of the viewpoint, as always, which divides us. Some men define belief with intuitive parameters of finite possibility while other men define belief by logical potentials of infinite possibility. Its always been that way and why in lodge assembled we dont discuss religion or politics. For my Grandfather the limit of faith was satisfied with Lazarus, for me the limit is the Logos thought of I am. Its much the same, but I like to argue about similitudes anyway.

It was a Great Eschatological Year

A Great year (also known as a Platonic year or Equinoctial cycle) is the time required for one complete cycle of the precession of the equinoxes, about 25,765 years, apr.2147 years per sign . the period required for the equinox to move through all twelve of the classic zodiacal signs. which equates to a Great Year duration of 25,200 years. Yes, there is a 2% variability. The Sanskrit, oldest pure language of earth, puts the length of a Great Year at 24,000 years, composed of one ascending age of 12,000 years and one descending age of 12,000 years, funny that 12000 agrees with the deluge of Atlantis. In India the Great Year is called a Yuga cycle,or union-Yog. Galactic Alignment is the conjunction of the summer and winter solstice Sun with the Galactic Equator. It is the origin of the 25000 year precession cycle and the beginning of a New Age, commencing in Aquarian. We are moving from the Piscean working backward, as in the fish sign r/t Christ. This is the time that the Sun resides on the Milky Way during a Great Celestial Conjunction at solstices or equinoxes. The rebuilding of Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem is linked to the prophecies of the ‘New Jerusalem, city of Revelation’, the biblical End Times, the end of the Maya fourth Sun, the end of the Hopi fourth world, the Apocalypse (meaning Revelation), the End of the Great Cycle (Platonic Year) and the current Great Celestial Conjunction or Galactic Alignment cusp years 1980-2020. Chief Seattle said what befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth. Is change prophesied? yes. Is it likely to happen on Dec 21 2012, not necessarily....the wheel of the cosmos causes change over time. Gods time, in which a 1000 years is as a day, some have said.

Washington D.C. and the New Jerusalem
The layout of Washington D.C. has long been associated with masonic geometry. The orientation of these streets and buildings of course can be attributed to the surveyors arts. And yet, there has been the suggestion that mystical intent was involved with the design, done by a masonic architect, in the planned layout on part of Washingtons estate. Many would dismiss this just as many would rather not consider Bro. Isaac Newtons mystical side. He surely had one, he searched for a bible code and was an alchemist. Just as we have divorced astrology from astronomy, and God from science, we err when we reject prophecy and mystical considerations, of what men have sought to create, to silently consider in their hearts, of a promised land across the Atlantic. Worse than that we allow the fundamentalist to label our fraternity a satanic order because we seek to bring all reasonable people together in peace, under our common heritage of faithful God fearing peoples.

New Masons and political slander
There is a correlation between the political slander we today see in the presidential campaign and the way in which freemasonry has been relegated to the back corners of American history and current thought. It is obvious when you look in so many of these history book indexes and find single or perhaps no mention of our fraternity. How sad is that. We were the quiet society, let them say what they will. Well to the victors goes the history bias, which is perhaps the real spoil of war. We need to speak out against these naybobs of negativity drqagging us down, in the strongest way possible. Slander of people of color should not be tolerated. Not of any race, creed, ethnicity, gender, gay or straight, turbanned, creamed baby onion eater, whatever . Small mindedness, greed and power hunger are what our forefathers sought to dilute on this american land. As a Fraternity we should speak out within our lodges and without, that we won't stand for that baloney anymore. Know that these are important days of our lives and the book of life will reflect our thoughts and actions, each jot and tittle.

Lucifer and the New World Order
Lucifer, is the light bringer? A confusing misnomer as understood today. The dark side is an imprisoning place where minions serves higher minion within the pyramid of the illusion of separation from Diety. If All is One, this is that, what does that dark side build on? Power and control! Once confined to darkness, and the shackles on that side,... light, choice are not an option initially, until the controlled entity surrenders to the domain of service to self, and then begins the climb up the hierarchy of control. Jehosuah said, If you have a light, don't put it under a basket. You cannot serve two masters, so chooose thou. The Creator turns from neither the darkness or the light, there is nothing outside The Infinite Intelligence. As to the NWO, if it means a universal brotherhood of all mankind, then I say, bring it on. I think it is the success of dark forces actually that has promulgated the often accepted idea that mankind should not be as one. We are 6000 Anno Lucis, two thirds of the way round this circle, shouldnt we all be as one?
Those who chose separation, chose death, not that there is anything wrong with that.
Those who chose separation, chose death, not that there is anything wrong with that.

The Seeking of Truth
There has been alot of discussion on sources of metaphysical information lately. I just wanted to offer up an article for any inclined and with a few extra minutes. Using the link to the right for The Law of One. ... Then selecting the library for light/lines newsletters and then spring 2008, there is an interesting channeled article on the seeking of truth which resonates with the individual seeker. I am curious to know if anyone uses this online library at L/L research Light/lines, so if you have a chance please comment back with thoughts on it.http://llresearch.org/newsletters/issues/2008_1.pdf
